Application for a Possession and Acquisition Licence Under the Firearms Act
Use this form if you are an individual aged 18 and over
to apply:
- for a first time licence,
- for a new licence if your current licence has expired,
- for a Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL) for a
different class of firearm,
- for a Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL) if you
currently have a Possession Only Licence (POL).a.
Application for an Authorization to Transport Restricted Firearms and Prohibited Firearms
Use this form, if you are an individual, to apply to the Chief Firearms Officer for an Authorization to Transport (ATT) Restricted or Prohibited Firearms.
FIREARMS VERIFICATION FORM
Use this form to request the verification of a firearm in Canada. This form has to be signed and mailed by an approved verifier.
NON-RESIDENT FIREARM DECLARATION FORM (CANADA)
Use this form to temporarily import your guns into Canada.

Aboriginal Peoples of Canada Adaptations Regulations
(Firearms) Application
THIS FORM IS FOR USE BY Aboriginal individuals (Indian, Inuit, Métis) who wish to benefit from one or more of the provisions of the Aboriginal Peoples of Canada Adaptations Regulations (Firearms) when applying for a Firearms Licence. You must also submit a licence application. Use either form "Application for a Licence under the Firearms Act (for Individuals Aged 18 and over)" (CAFC 921) or "Application for a Licence Under the Firearms Act (For Minors)" (CAFC 671)
